Enhanced search routines, representation and algorithm. Search pages are now much more user friendly.

We removed our proprietary search function installed on October 27th, 2006 and replaced it with a Google search. We are testing to see if this search is actually more beneficial for our visitors than our own. We expect the test to run until Saturday, January 27th, 2007.

Added search by property name function. Now you can search for a specific property in the vicinity of a city you are currently viewing.

It took us 2 months of continuous effort, but we finally accomplished address normalization (making sure all the addresses for apartment communities in our database comply with current GIS standards). We also implemented ”Nearest Cities” search for each city in the database as well as ”Nearest Properties” for each property.

Thanks to an excellent Google Maps service we now have an opportunity to display detailed mapping information for all the properties in our database, just like the site name implies.

The project is running of a dedicated server. Currently, we have records of just over 31400 apartment communities all over the country.
